Our first official look at Gossip Girl is finally here!!!
HBO Max dropped a brand new teaser trailer on Friday morning (May 28) and it looks SO GOOD.

Joshua Safran, the showrunner of the upcoming Gossip Girl revival, has revealed when the show is coming out!
Fans can expect to see the new series on HBO Max THIS July, as revealed in the cast’s new Cosmopolitan cover story.
Joshua shared the cover feature on Twitter, and wrote, “Oh hi also: show drops in July.”
“My hope is that we make it to airing and people don’t know,” Joshua said about keeping details super under wraps. “I would love to see that conversation happen in the context of people having seen it as opposed to talking about something they haven’t seen.”

Thomas Doherty flashes a smile in these new photos from the set of Gossip Girl on Thursday (March 11) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actor had a couple of cute looking moments with co-stars Eli Brown and Evan Mock.
Also seen on set that day were most of the ladies of the show – Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Zion Moreno, Emily Alyn Lind and Tavi Gevinson. Not seen filming these scenes was Whitney Peak, but we did see her filming with Eli recently!
Emily recently opened up about the first time the whole cast filmed on the MET steps and the photos spread like wildfire online.
“The first time we were there, it was the first time that we were all together as a group and being photographed or seen in public,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “So it was crazy, everyone was jumping on it, there were people from left and right. And it was the first time we really had paparazzi for the show, just because everything else had been filmed at the stages and we just happened to all be together. So it was really cool. I think in that moment, I was looking at the cast mates and I was just like, ‘What the f–k? This is going to be possibly the next six years of our life, Jesus!’”

Gossip Girl is kicking off the new year!!
The revival series’ official Instagram account took to the page on New Year’s Day to reveal the character names of the new cast, and a word to describe each one.
The main cast of the new version of the show includes Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Thomas Doherty, Eli Brown, Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Zion Moreno and Whitney Peak.
Also in the cast include the return of Kristen Bell as the voice of Gossip Girl, Laura Benanti, Jason Gotay, Johnathan Fernandez and Adam Chanler-Berat.

Eli Brown, Emily Alyn Lind, and Whitney Peak were seen in their school uniforms while filming on the Upper East Side of New York City on Monday (November 23).
The stars were seen alongside other actors from the new HBO Max series, including Thomas Doherty, Zion Moreno, Savannah Smith, Jordan Alexander, Evan Mock, and Tavi Gevinson.
The original series followed the lives of students at elite private high schools in New York City’s Upper East Side – the Constance Billard School for Girls and the St. Jude’s School for Boys. The photos from set confirm that the students will be attending the same schools in the upcoming extension series.
The Gossip Girl showrunner spoke out this month to explain why the upcoming series should NOT be considered a reboot.

Thomas Doherty sits on the steps of the Metropolitan Musuem of Art with his Gossip Girl co-stars in these new photos on Tuesday (November 10) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actor was joined by Eli Brown, Evan Mock, Savannah Smith, Tavi Gevinson, Jordan Alexander, Emily Alyn Lind, Zion Moreno and Whitney Peak.
The group of actors filmed scenes on the steps, which were famously featured often in the first couple of seasons in the original Gossip Girl.
Blair (Leighton Meester) would sit at the top of the steps before school or at lunch, and her minions would sit on the steps right below her. Once Blair graduated from Constance, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) took over the hierarchy and would sit at the top of the steps.
The week before, Thomas shared with fans that he was starting work on the reboot, by sharing a selfie in the hair and makeup trailer, showing off his ripped abs!
Eli and Whitney were also seen filming night scenes later in the week.
The Gossip Girl reboot is set to premiere in 2021 on HBO Max.
