Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is the latest franchise film to be released, and it features a star-studded cast.
In the new movie, following years of seclusion from the human world, the Turtle brothers embark on a journey to win the affection of New Yorkers and be embraced as ordinary teenagers by performing acts of heroism. Assisted by their newfound companion, April O’Neil, they confront a secretive crime syndicate. However, their situation quickly spirals out of control when they face an onslaught of mutants released against them.
Seth Rogen is also one of the film’s co-writers, alongside Evan Goldberg and Jeff Rowe, as well as Dan Hernandez & Benji Samit. Seth and Evan are also executive producers!

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has hit theaters!
The latest iteration of the mega-popular franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, takes on a new look with computer-generated animation, with a look more akin to doodles you may do in a notebook.
“We decided we wanted this movie to look exactly like a concept artwork, and we want the concept artwork to feel distinctly human and not computer-generated,” co-writer and director Jeff Rowe told Variety of the animation. “And that means sketchy and imperfect and misshapen and reminiscent of the way you draw when you’re a child or a teenager, and your passion and enthusiasm for making art hasn’t been dimmed by formal art training. It’s the kind of drawing you do before you have that voice in your head that says, ‘Don’t do that. That’s not how you draw.’ We wanted to design a film that had that level of unfettered expression. And then it was just a lot of designing it and convincing a lot of really talented artists that it was OK to make mistakes, and that those were actually features not bugs.”
