Reign's Adelaide Kane Reveals What Could've Happened in Season 5, If There Was One

Reign's Adelaide Kane Reveals What Could've Happened in Season 5, If There Was One

We still haven’t come to terms with the fact that Reign is officially over.

We know we’ll still have our box sets and Netflix, but we really want a season five.

When JJJ spoke to Adelaide Kane, she echoed our wishes, dreaming up what could of been.

“I would’ve loved to seen Queen Elizabeth I ushering in the golden age,” Adelaide shared with us. “And the age of exploration with her, and maybe see how Henry and Charles situation played out. Catherine de Medici and more of her scheming.”

And what about Mary? There was a huge time jump, another marriage, and more.

“For Mary, raising her child and dodging all that political climate that she was in” she adds. “She was driven out of Scotland when her child was two years old. She abdicated and then fled to England, so we had two good years of Mary being a mother, but also her fighting the Scottish government and Protestantism, as she was a catholic in Scotland.”

Adelaide added even more storylines that could’ve possibly went into a season six, seven and eight.

“After she fled, she was captured and then incarcerated for the next 20 years of her life. There was so much more to explore with her.”

“Also, I’d get to be with a baby for more than two episodes. I love babies,” Adelaide gushed. “Every time any baby was on set, I asked them to let me know on a different unit so I could go and play and see them.”

KJ Apa Didn't Tell Anyone That He Broke His Hand In The 'Riverdale' Season Finale

KJ Apa Didn't Tell Anyone That He Broke His Hand In The 'Riverdale' Season Finale

We all know that KJ Apa‘s hand injury was actually real and he did indeed break his hand while filming Riverdale‘s season finale.

What we didn’t know is that he didn’t tell anyone he did!

“That was a gnarly day of shooting, I’ll tell you that much,” KJ shared with TVLine about the scenes on the frozen lake, where he was pounding on ice to get Cheryl out of the water.

He adds, “I wasn’t really punching the ice, but I got a little bit too excited. I was punching a foam mat…[that was] sitting on the ice. It was cold, so I didn’t really feel it.”

He actually didn’t even realize his hand was actually broken, either: “It wasn’t until 20 minutes after that I realized I broke my hand. I didn’t tell anyone.”

The Final Frary Scene in 'Reign's Series Finale Was Shot Before Toby Regbo Left The Show

The Final Frary Scene in 'Reign's Series Finale Was Shot Before Toby Regbo Left The Show

Reign said goodbye last night with a beautiful Francis and Mary montage that made us melt into a puddle of goo.

The scene happens just after Mary is beheaded and she wakes up, lying next to Francis in her afterlife.

“When one looks back on Mary’s life it seemed so tragic, but there was so much joy in it,” showrunner Laurie McCarthy shared with TVGuide. “Historically she was said to find happiness and friendship even in her years of captivity. I wanted to celebrate where the show began, which is with a love story.”

She adds about including this moment in the final episode, “I felt that in her darkest moment that was a place her mind might go.”

“The scene was filmed before Toby Regbo left the series – we shot it and just held it not knowing when the end would come but knowing what it would be,” Laurie says.

If you missed it, be sure to read just which scene star Adelaide Kane thought was the sweetest one between the couple.

'The Originals' Are Casting For Hope's Love Interest For Season 5

'The Originals' Are Casting For Hope's Love Interest For Season 5

We’ve all heard about the plans for The Originals season five that involve an older Hope.

We know that there will be another time jump, and that Summer Fontana (who plays Hope right now) might not be in the next season.

Now, we also know there are plans for another new vampire character — a love interest for Hope.

EW reports that the show is currently casting for a “devilishly charming, recently-turned vampire named Roman.”

The new character will find himself having a common bond with the daughter of Klaus and Hayley, over their dysfunctional families.

This sounds interesting…what do you think about this news?

'Riverdale' Season Two Scoop: Will Hiram Lodge Cause Trouble For Veronica and Archie?

'Riverdale' Season Two Scoop: Will Hiram Lodge Cause Trouble For Veronica and Archie?

Season two of Riverdale starts shooting next week and it looks like Hiram Lodge will already be causing trouble.

In a new scoop from EW, we’ve found out that Hiram (Mark Consuelos) is someone with huge power and dark secrets.

“Hiram is a family man, he loves and treasures his wife and especially his daughter,” EP Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared. “But there’s no denying that we’ve built up someone who has very dark dealings and who has a criminal past.”

He added, “He’s not like the Serpents, who are a street-level gang. He’s operating at a much higher level and has tentacles everywhere. The questions will be: Is Hiram truly reformed? What does he want?”

And also, we’d imagine that Hiram might not be totally on board with Archie dating Veronica.

Riverdale premieres October 11th on the CW.
