Dove Cameron, China Anne McClain & More Star in 'Descendants 2' - Full Cast List

We’re only one day away from the premiere of Descendants 2, premiering Friday, July 21st!

The story picks up right where it left off with Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay living in Auradon.

Most of the VKs have settled into their new life in the idyllic kingdom with the exception of Mal, who is struggling to emulate what she thinks is expected of her as the soon-to-be “Lady of the Court” alongside King Ben.

When the pressure to fit in becomes too overwhelming, Mal flees Auradon and returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where she is met with her archenemy, the newly proclaimed queen of the town, Uma and her pirate gang.

When an unexpected turn of events puts Ben and the VKs back in Isle of the Lost, they learn about Uma’s true intentions – to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon unleashing all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.

Descendants 2 will premiere across FIVE channels — Disney Channel, Disney XD, Lifetime, Freeform and ABC.

'The Originals' Showrunner Announces Show Will End With Season 5

'The Originals' Showrunner Announces Show Will End With Season 5

It’s the end of The Originals with season 5.

Julie Plec announced the decision on Twitter just before heading to Comic-Con for the weekend, where the show will have a panel.

“It’s both a gift and a burden to be able to control the ending of a series. Many shoes are not lucky enough to have a hand in deciding when the end has come,” she writes.

“Celebrate with us, cry with us, visit with us, watch us next spring when we air…and know that in a show about an immortal family who believes in ‘Always and Forever’, it’s never really the end of the story.”

Raven Symone On Her Return To Disney Channel With 'Raven's Home': 'It Means Everything To Me'

Raven Symone On Her Return To Disney Channel With 'Raven's Home': 'It Means Everything To Me'

Raven Symone will finally be back on our TV screens on Friday night in Raven’s Home — and yes, it’s been a long time coming.

“It means everything to me, being able to come back with a different view on life,” the actress told EW about returning to Disney Channel as a grown up Raven Baxter.

She adds, “I can show people who I’ve become as a woman. I really don’t have to worry about anything when I play her. She’s just fun.”

Raven also talked about the physical comedy and working with Anneliese van der Pol, who plays Chelsea.

“We are helping each other co-parent, so you can only imagine what that’s like with Raven and Chelsea being authoritative,” Raven shared about the dynamic in the show. “The show is based on how you can have a family in an untraditional sense.”

“Just because you don’t have a mother and a father in the home doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy, happy family. It’s something comprehensive and true to life and many people go through on an everyday basis.”

She’s really excited for the physical comedy, too.

“It’s fun to be able to do pratfalls and get more into what we were known for on That’s So Raven,” she adds. “This is the first time the kids have been able to do physical comedy so I’m always right there with them coaching them through it as best I can. That’s how I was taught. So we’re all learning together. But I think we’re going to punch it up a little bit more as the season continues.”

Raven’s Home will premiere right after Descendants 2 on Friday, July 21st on Disney Channel.

Raven Symone Opens Up About How Raven & Devon Will Make It Work on 'Raven's Home'

Raven Symone has just three days until the premiere of her new show, Raven’s Home.

Speaking with MTV, the actress opened up about bringing Jonathan McDaniel back and how their characters make their family work as a divorced couple.

“I like the relationship that Devon and Raven have right now,” she shared. “He’s very involved in the kids’ life. He’s right there. He’s successful in his own way. Things are changing, and it’s OK.”

Issac Ryan Brown, who plays the couple’s son Booker, also opened up about his own relationship with Devon.

“I feel like [Booker and Devon's] relationship is similar to his and Raven’s relationship because Booker always brings that fun, kind of annoying attitude to the party, and everyone’s just got to love him,” he says.

Raven’s Home premieres Friday, July 21st on Disney Channel.

Alexa & Carlos PenaVega Team Up For Hallmark Christmas Movie Together

Alexa & Carlos PenaVega Team Up For Hallmark Christmas Movie Together

It’s official — Alexa and Carlos PenaVega are officially a Hallmark couple!

The actors and married couple are teaming up for Enchanted Christmas, and as you could probably tell from their Instagrams, they’ll be dancing in it!

Enchanted Christmas focuses on young widow Laura Trudeau (Alexa) who left Utah and her father, her love of dance — and an old heartbreak. Now, she must return home to spearhead the renovation of a derelict hotel, which must be restored in time for a Christmas Eve benefit dance performance.

But Laura is shocked to learn that her old love, Ricardo Archuleta (Carlos), the boy who jilted her for a professional dance career, is the star of the dance benefit; and when his dance partner Taylor walks out on the show for an out-of-town audition, Laura has to step in for her.

Alexa and Carlos are working with choreographer Bonnie Story for their dances. Bonnie actually worked on the first two High School Musical movies with Kenny Ortega and Chucky Klapow.

'Pretty Little Liars' Showrunner Got More Pushback Over Emily Being Gay Than Anything Else

'Pretty Little Liars' Showrunner Got More Pushback Over Emily Being Gay Than Anything Else

Pretty Little Liars had its share of boundary pushing storylines throughout the seven season run.

There was Charlotte being transgender, a sort of implied incest storyline with Jenna and Toby, and we can’t forget about Aria and Ezra’s relationship — we mean, it was statutory rape.

“It was such a big part of Sara [Shepard]’s first book, and that book became the pilot, so we just sort of owned it,” showrunner I. Marlene King shared in a recent interview with NY Times.

“I wanted to be true to the characters that Sara created, and it was the biggest part of Aria’s story. It is what it is.”

But those storylines weren’t the biggest ones that she got pushback on — it was Emily Fields being gay!

“ABC Family was really a conservative channel, spun out of the Christian Broadcast Network,” she shared, “and so, yeah, I got a lot of angry letters from conservative Christian moms who couldn’t believe that two girls kissed in the pilot.”

“They didn’t care that Aria and her teacher were making out — they cared about two girls kissing. It says a lot about our society, for sure.”

However, Emily’s coming out and relationships were really important to tell, especially to Marlene.
