We’re nearly half-way through season two of The Carrie Diaries and we’re completely hooked!
We just had to catch up with executive producer Amy B. Harris on what more we can expect from our favorite Castlebury residents.
“I think the reality of your life in high school is that you can never truly get away from people who hold parts of your heart, which is challenging because obviously they are in the same hallways as you,” Amy told us when asked about Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) and Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) relationship. “But, I think for time being, these two are attempting to move on. And I think the question is, ‘How do you do that’? Can you stay friends with an ex? Can you help out with an ex? Do you have no contact? I think that’s a big piece of the puzzle for them.”
She added, “I don’t think he’s looking to fall in love or replace Carrie.” Aw! We don’t think so either!
As for our other favorite couple – Walt (Brendan Dooling) and Bennet (Jake Robinson) – Amy told JJJ that we’ll see Walt’s parents again! “They will come later in the season. Right now we’re just exploring what Walt’s sexuality means to him.”
