In “Borderline,” Carrie pitches Larissa (Freema Agyeman) a profile on New York wunderkind playwright Adam Weaver, but when he proves a difficult, yet fascinating, interview, Carrie’s job is on the line.
Bennet’s (Jake Robinson) rules in his relationship with Walt (Brendan Dooling) force Walt to acknowledge his real feelings. Carrie and Dorrit (Stefania Owen) are surprised to find a common enemy in Tom’s (Matt Letscher) girlfriend Deb’s (guest Nadia Dajani) son Dylan (guest star Dylan Clark Marshall).
Meanwhile, Sebastian (Austin Butler) seeks comfort in the arms of someone new.
“I think that it’s really great because when the writers got Dorrit and Donna together, it was like they were very similar,” Stefania recently told JJJ in an interview. “They were different because Donna has her skimpy clothes and she’s more bitchy. But when they came together, they connected. They knew what they were talking about. They would talk about boys. It was a connection that no one has on the show, which is really great. It was really fun acting with Chloe.”
Stay tuned for our interview with executive producer Amy B. Harris later this week!
“He does kind of have a thing for older women,” Austin told JJJ in a recent interview. “That’s a complicated relationship. You have to watch that one. [Vicky] is around town and he’s around town and they meet. He’s in New York a lot more this year and as the season progresses, everyone is kind of in New York.”
Don’t forget – The Carrie Diaries airs Fridays @ 8PM on The CW!
In “Express Yourself,” Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) and Walt are faced with kicking out their new roommate when she makes herself too comfortable. Walt summons the courage to tell Bennet how he feels about him at his eighteenth birthday bash – at a VIP Z100 concert – but things go horribly awry before Bennet can respond.
Back in Castlebury, Sebastian (Austin Butler) and Maggie (Katie Findlay) run into each other; and the evening doesn’t go exactly as planned when Tom (Matt Letscher) invites girlfriend Deb (guest star Nadia Dajani) to spend the weekend with him.
During our interview with Lindsey, she dished about the casting process for Samantha Jones, getting into such a beloved character, the advice she received from Kim Cattrall, and her real-life Sex and the City cast connection!
The second season of The Carrie Diaries premieres TONIGHT and to finish off our week-long look at what to expect, check out our new interview with star AnnaSophia Robb!
In the premiere “Win Some, Lose Some,” Carrie (Robb) is busy living it up in New York City with her BFF Walt (Brendan Dooling), and trying to forget that her boyfriend Sebastian (Austin Butler) and best friend Maggie (Katie Findlay) hooked up behind her back.
