The new trailer for The Grinch is here – and we can’t wait for the movie to come out!
The forthcoming film, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of The Grinch, hits theaters on November 9.

The trailer for The Grinch premiered on Thursday (March 8), and it’s already put us in the mood for Christmas all over again.
The Grinch lives a solitary life inside a cave on Mt. Crumpet with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. When the Whos declare they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, the Grinch realizes there is only one way for him to gain some peace and quiet: he must steal Christmas.
Even The Grinch has Olympic dreams in this brand new TV spot, promoting both the Olympic Games and upcoming animated movie.
In the new promo, The Grinch is all settled in to watch the figure skating events at the Olympics — before launching into a daydream about becoming the next ice skating star to the sounds of Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful.”

The animated flick, which was initially set for release last year, will be out in November 2018.

Illumination Entertainment just debuted the first poster for their upcoming The Grinch animated adaptation and at this moment in time, we like how he looks!
However, the tagline for the film does say that “He Gets Meaner”, so we don’t know how to feel about that.
This marks just one in the many How The Grinch Stole Christmas adaptations — the biggest one being the 2000 live action film with Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen.
The Grinch is expected to open in theaters on November 9, 2018.
