In tomorrow night’s episode “Loner,” A cute jock named Luke (Zachary Abel) asks Cassie (Robertson) to the school dance, and after watching Adam (Dekker) spend time with Diana (Shelley Hennig) at the boathouse, she accepts his offer.
Britt Robertson and Phoebe Tonkin take advantage of spending time together off screen as they hit up the 2011 CW Launch Party presented by Bing held at Warner Bros. Studios on Saturday night (September 10) in Burbank, Calif.
The 21-year-old actress recently chatted with Fearnet about one of her favorite scenes she’s filmed so far for The Secret Circle.
“The episode that we just finished was really cool. Cassie and Faye, Phoebe Tonkin‘s character, they have sort of a night together where they experiment in the world of witchcraft a little bit, and things get extremely out of hand,” Britt shared.
She added, “It was so much fun to shoot because I rarely get scenes with Phoebe, and we get along so well, and I think the chemistry is really cool, and it’s such a different dynamic than what you’re used to seeing. But also we just got to do a lot of cool stuff, like our own stunts and cool green-screen effects and all that jazz. They were really fun sequences.”

The 21-year-old actress recently told Collider what attracted her to the show.
“After Life Unexpected ended, I wanted to do something that was completely different from Lux and that show,” Britt said, “I wanted to be able to keep my fans, but not have them confused about who I was or what my character was. And, I’d never worked in the supernatural genre, or done anything like that. Something that [show creator] Kevin [Williamson] was a part of, in that world, seemed so appealing to me. In my opinion, Kevin is the king of supernatural television, and working with him is such an honor and a privilege. All of those things combined made it the right decision for me, at the time.”
Britt Robertson gets close with costar Thomas Dekker as they attend The CW Network’s Summer 2011 TCA Panel Session for The Secret Circle at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday afternoon (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Circle stars joined costars Gale Harold, Natasha Henstridge, and executive producers Gina Girolamo, Kevin Williamson and Andrew Miller to chat about the upcoming show, premiering September 15th.
Kevin told press at the panel that there most likely would not be any kind of crossover with The Vampire Diaries. I don’t think you’ll see that crossover. That would kind of limit us. We want to create our own story,” he shared.
“It’s very dark, but not that hard-edge ripping hearts out and slicing people open like Vampire Diaries. We’re just challenged as to what can witches do? Yes, there will be humor and scary witchy-woo,” he added about the feel of the series.
