The 29-year-old singer and coach was joined on stage by Kid Cudi for a performance of their new song “Just Look Up” during the season finale of the singing competition series on Tuesday night (December 14) at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, Calif.
If you didn’t know, “Just Look Up” will be featured in the upcoming movie Don’t Look Up, which Ariana and Cudi will both be appearing in.
Don’t Look Up centers on two low-level astronomers who go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.
The movie will be out in select theaters on December 10 ahead of its release on Netflix on December 24. You check out the trailer here.
The 28-year-old made her debut as the new coach on the competition series and kicked off the episode singing Aretha Franklin‘s “Respect” with Kelly Clarkson.
Also apart of the coaches number were Blake Shelton and John Legend, who sang Sam & Dave‘s “Hold On, I’m Coming.”
Earlier in the day, Ariana made an appearance on Kelly‘s daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show, and she opened up about who she shares her new music with before her record label!
