Aimee Teegarden sparkles next to Thomas McDonell at the premiere of their new flick, Prom, held at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on Thursday evening (April 21).
The twosome star as Nova and Jesse in the film about Brookside High and Nova’s perfect prom which means getting involved with the school’s bad boy, Jesse Richter.
Aimee, 21, wore a gorgeous Pamela Rolland gown with Casadei heels. She accessorized her premiere look with a Judith Leiber studded clutch, Neil Lane jewels, and Skin Finish by St. Tropez.
So, we’re a little early for Stick Hippo Friday, but JJJ has a treat! We just got our hands on these exclusive images from Moon‘s video shoot for “Time Stand!”
Moon is actually Prom star Thomas McDonell‘s band and they were lucky enough to score a spot on the Prom soundtrack!
Thomas told JJJ about landing that coveted role on the record, “What happened was the crew and director Joe Nussbaum heard that I did music and while they were excited about it, none of it was exactly the right feeling for the film or the soundtrack. So, the band and I recorded a song specifically for the film that we thought would satisfy us all.”
The “Time Stand” music vid will premiere TOMORROW and Prom opens in theaters April 29th.

Thomas McDonell lays his head on Aimee Teegarden‘s shoulder as they sit back and sign some Prom posters during the meet and greet Prom event held at Macy’s at Pembroke Lakes Mall on Saturday afternoon (April 16) in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
Costar Janelle Ortiz also joined in on the fun. She and Aimee both helped two fans pick out the perfect prom dresses for their upcoming dance.
Aimee told JJJ before she left that she was getting excited for more meet and greets with the fans. “Thomas and I did one in Dallas before and it was great getting to meet everyone. I love that each one of the events is hooked up with a charity as well, like Donate My Dress, where they collect gently used prom dresses to give out to the girls who can’t afford new ones.”
Psst, Aimee wore an Alice by Temperley strapless dress and an Ann Taylor Gold Burnished Necklace.
JJJ just got our hands on the Prom soundtrack and can’t get enough of it. So in honor of Stick Hippo Friday, we’re letting you know our favorite tracks!
Not only does the album feature Allstar Weekend‘s “Not Your Birthday,” Neon Trees‘ “Your Surrender,” and Nolan Sotillo‘s “We Could Be Anything,” it’s also got some pretty awesome indie bands.
Like…Those Dancing Days. They’re an Swedish indie pop band that were actually supposed to make their US debut at the 2011 SXSW Film and Music Festival. But, they didn’t have their Visas in time.
Passion Pit, Simple Plan, Shout Out Louds, Shere, and Girl in a Coma also scored a spot on the record. Who else? Star Thomas McDonell‘s band, Moon. We’ll have more on that soon!
The Prom soundtrack drops on Tuesday, April 26th with the movie opening on April 29th. Bigger pic inside…More Here! »
There’s always that one guy — you know the one — who you’re dying for him to ask you. Is it the book smart hottie, the bad boy or the lacrosse captain?
In this new TV spot for the upcoming Prom, we get to see a few more scenes from the flick — including some really cute moments with Aimee Teegarden and Thomas McDonell.
Prom follows several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches and opens in theaters on April 29th!
JJJ Fun Fact time: Aimee told us a cool tidbit about the video. “At the end you’ll see me and Thomas get on a motorcycle and ride off. We were actually riding on wet grass and the bike isn’t supposed to be ridden on wet grass. So ten seconds after we got on, it flipped over! No one was hurt though.”
