Thomas Sangster is Paul McCartney

Thomas Sangster is Paul McCartney

Just like pal Olivia Olson, Thomas Sangster is growing up and looking to play Paul McCartney in the upcoming Nowhere Boy.

The 19-year-old British star, who you might remember from Love, Actually and Nanny McPhee, is learning to play guitar left-handed to portray the legendary Beatle, the Daily Mail reports.

Thomas will join Aaron Johnson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Anne-Marie Duff in the upcoming movie, about the teenage years of John Lennon and the two women who shaped his early life.

Thomas already plays guitar, but he’s right-handed and will appear in scenes where Lennon and McCartney are about to form The Quarrymen, the skiffle group they played in before it became The Beatles.
