Katherine McNamara & Luke Baines Reunite For New Quarantine Horror Movie

Katherine McNamara and Luke Baines are co-starring in a new horror movie!

The Shadowhunters co-stars are part of the cast for the new quarantine-filmed The Untitled Horror Movie.

Also in the cast are Claire Holt, Never Have I Ever‘s Darren Barnet, Timothy Granaderos, and Emmy Raver-Lampman.

Luke co-wrote the movie with Nick Simon, and shared that the title is part of the joke, and not just a temporary title.

“Until a distributor buys it and takes it away,” he told Vanity Fair. “That was one of the recurring jokes we had with it. This group of actors couldn’t name their own movie. So it is right now called The Untitled Horror Movie.”

“The horror comedy is about a group of needy and desperate young stars from a once-popular TV series who learn, via video conference, that their show has just been canceled,” Vanity Fair says of the synopsis. “Fearing obscurity, they decide to stay in the spotlight by making a quickie horror film—but while shooting it, they perform a ritual that accidentally invokes an actual demonic spirit. Mayhem follows.”

Each of the actors did everything on their own, including makeup, camera set up, lighting, and more. Everything was filmed and done remotely, and it was all shot in one week!

Timothy Granaderos Shares How He Reacted To Monty's Storyline on '13 Reasons Why' Season 3

Timothy Granaderos Shares How He Reacted To Monty's Storyline on '13 Reasons Why' Season 3

Timothy Granaderos has revealed how he reacted when he found out his character’s storyline in 13 Reasons Why season three.

The 33-year-old actor was a bit shocked, but said he trusted creator Brian Yorkey.

“I trust Brian Yorkey with every ounce of my being. He doesn’t always say what we’re going to be getting into, but he always alludes to something happening,” Timothy told TV Line. “So whenever he pulls me aside and asks me to take a walk with him, I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t, what’s going to happen?’ When we were starting Season 3, he told me that Monty would be questioning his sexuality, then dying at the end, and I was like, ‘Whoa.’ It’s like when you get a phone call from your parents. You’re like, ‘I don’t know if this will be good or bad, but they definitely need to tell me something.’”

He also dished about what scene was the most challenging for him to film. Click inside to see what he said… More Here! »

Grace Saif's '13 Reasons Why' Co-Stars Come To Her Defense Against Online Bullies Who Don't Like Her Character, Ani

Grace Saif's '13 Reasons Why' Co-Stars Come To Her Defense Against Online Bullies Who Don't Like Her Character, Ani

There are always characters on television programs and in movies that we don’t like, but that doesn’t mean we need to take it out on the actor themselves.

However, some 13 Reasons Why viewers have done just that to Grace Saif, who plays new character Ani in the new season.

A lot of fans have reacted to Ani’s role in the new season online, and are trolling her, and Grace, with an iconic line from Mean Girls: “She doesn’t even go here.”

Grace hasn’t publicly commented on any of the reactions about her role in the series, however, her co-stars Anne Winters and Timothy Granaderos have.

“Hey Y’all, just a reminder. Whether or not you support, like, or love, a character in our fictional tv show—please remember that there is a talented and beautiful actor/actress bringing those scripted words to life,” Tim, who plays Monty, wrote on his Instagram with a pic featuring Grace.

He added, “One of the underlining themes in our show is to take care of each other. I’ve seen some pretty nasty things being said online, concerning the introduction of a new character. Y’all are passionate & we love you for that, but PLEASE PLEASE try to be kind and respect the work of the talented actress/actor behind the character.”

Anne also told People that the hate towards Grace and her character is unwarranted.

“I think her role was very important this season, because, you know, you need someone that has the other side of Bryce,” she explained. “And we wouldn’t have really gotten to see that unless there was some sort of new character that was living with him. That had to be … that’s vital to the story to see. And Ani is amazing, Grace who plays Ani is like the sweetest girl ever. I really loved her character this season.”

13 Reasons Why is streaming now on Netflix.

Timothy Granaderos Was 'Pretty Schocked' Over Monty's '13 Reasons Why' Season 3 Story Arc [SPOILER ALERT]

Timothy Granaderos Was 'Pretty Schocked' Over Monty's '13 Reasons Why' Season 3 Story Arc [SPOILER ALERT]

SPOILER ALERT! THIS POST CONTAINS 13 REASONS WHY SEASON 3 SPOILERS! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT THE SEASON RUINED!

Timothy Granaderos is opening up about his character Montgomery “Monty” De La Cruz’s story line in 13 Reasons Why‘s third season.

The 32-year-old actor talked about how some of the new developments in his character’s arc this season surprised him.

[SPOILER ALERT]

“I didn’t find out Monty was going to be killed off until much later in the season,” he told EW. “When I found out, it was pretty shocking and sad because more than anything, it’s a tragedy for this character, you know? In season 3, we do learn some of his vulnerabilities and we maybe see Monty turning in some ways and then tragically it comes to an end. I’m just sad to see that his story ended in that manner.”

He also talked about if he knew before that Monty was dealing with internalized homophobia.

“I definitely, especially looking back on a lot of his comments and the racy things he would say, you have to entertain the idea that he’s covering something up,” Timothy added. “But I don’t feel like I had developed that idea in my mind. Even when [Showrunner Brian] Yorkey approached me with it, it was more so that if Montgomery had these urges, he wouldn’t even allow himself to explore that. He would shut it down immediately. It was interesting and that’s how I prepared it as an actor and that’s how it came to fruition onscreen for Monty.”
