The Viscount of Carcassonne actually died in 1209 a martyr, trying to protect his Cathar citizens from genocide.

The Labyrinth, which follows two intelligent headstrong heroines, 17-year-old Alaïs Pelletier from 13th century Carcassonne and modern-day PhD graduate Dr. Alice Tanner who experience an adventure that intertwines their lives, is expected to premiere in 2012.
Tom has been busy filming Labyrinth in South Africa.
The series, where Tom stars as Viscount Trencavel, is an adventure story set both in Medieval and modern-day France and centered on two woman bound together by the secret of the holy Grail. More Here! »

He added, “Problem is they are suspiciously well wrapped for me. I’m a notoriously crap wrapper. Runs in the family. Might unwrap and crease up a bit x 2nd problem is I bought a lot of similar shaped boxes and now am not sure what is what? My dad might end up with some lavender bodyscrub x”
