Tom Holland Wants This 'Spider-Man' Alum To Play Uncle Ben

Tom Holland is getting everything right about this!

Speaking with BBC Radio recently, the Spider-Man: Homecoming star opened up about some roles that may or may not pop up in the sequels coming up.

When asked about who would play Uncle Ben, Tom didn’t hesitate at all. He wants Tobey Maguire to take the part!

“I kinda want Tobey Maguire to play Uncle Ben,” Tom shared. “I think that’d be super funny, but I don’t think he’ll do it.”

If you remember, Tobey starred as Peter Parker in the OG Spider-Man trilogy in the 2000s.

TELL JJJ: What do you think? Do you think Tobey would be a great Uncle Ben?

FYI: Tom is also pictured below at the D23 Expo on Saturday (July 15) with Benedict Cumberbatch and Karen Gillan.

UPDATE: Both stars have confirmed that the below report is NOT true. Read what they said now!

Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially an item!

According to a report (via People), the two Spider-Man: Homecoming stars are dating.

“They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man,” one source told the mag. “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”

We all can see Zendaya and Tom‘s chemistry together — and she is already styling him.

Another source shared, “They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth.”

TELL JJJ: What do you think of this coupling — YAY or NAY?

Tom Holland's Undercover High School Experience Almost Didn't Work Out!

Tom Holland's Undercover High School Experience Almost Didn't Work Out!

Tom Holland went undercover at a New York City high school to prepare for his role in Spider-Man but his plan was almost foiled!

The 21-year-old actor shadowed senior at Arun Bishop at the highly competitive Bronx High School of Science and he’s now opening up about the experience!

“What Marvel wanted was just to get the experience of a typical STEM high schooler’s life. They didn’t want me to do anything special — just walk through the day as I would any other day,” Arun explained to Business Insider.

He added that in order to make it believable, Tom used a fake name, an American accent and claimed to be Arun‘s visiting cousin. The mission was kept under wraps so only a few administrators knew!

But on the first day, the plan was almost ruined when Tom‘s fake student ID didn’t work and security was called!

Thankfully, it worked out and Tom headed to Arun‘s classes which included AP physics, AP calculus AB, AP English literature and AP microeconomics.

By the second day, things had gotten a little boring for Tom so he decided to break character and let some students know he was going to be in Spider-Man.

“Most of them wouldn’t believe him at all. Because that just doesn’t make sense, right?
Why, at Bronx Science, would there be an actor who’s been shadowing me for a day and a half?” Arun explained.

Despite the student’s disbelief, Tom wrapped up his mission and headed off to film Spider-Man.

Check out what Tom had to say about the experience below…

Tom Holland Has Only One Regret About His 'Umbrella' Performance on 'Lip Sync Battle'

Let’s face it — Tom Holland‘s performance on Lip Sync Battle will forever be one of the greatest moments on the show.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming star faced off against his co-star Zendaya on the show, performing Rihanna‘s “Umbrella”.

Tom lost out to Zendaya in the end, who nailed her Bruno Mars‘ “24K Magic” performance, but insists that he probably could’ve won if this one thing had happened.

“I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t mind being in drag,” he shared in a video interview with People, but definitely regrets not wearing heels!

He added, “I said, ‘You want me to dance in the rain and do a front flip? I can’t do that in heels.’ I wish I had now. That would have shut things down.”

The whole experience for Tom was nerve-wracking for him.

“It was more nerve-wracking than Spider-Man,” he shared. “That was so stressful; it was probably the biggest thing I’ve had to get over.”

We are totally charmed by this mini Spider-Man!

Ahead of cutie Liam‘s interview with stars Zendaya and Tom Holland, he actually brought Zendaya yellow roses — and we are melting over it!

Liam interviewed both of the actors for their new movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, even asking Zendaya on a sort of date, since, you know, he was dressed as Spider-Man.

“If Spider-Man wanted to take you on a date, where would we go?” Liam asked.

“Maybe like, the top of a really cool building with a really great view,” she said.

Tom Holland Quit Tinder Because He Didn't Get Any Matches

Tom Holland Quit Tinder Because He Didn't Get Any Matches

Spiderman: Homecoming star Tom Holland revealed in a new interview that he used to have Tinder, but he deleted the app because no one swiped right on him!

If you’re staring at your phone with skepticism, you’re totally right: He told KISS FM that he didn’t update his Facebook pictures (from when he was 12) so of course no one wanted to swipe on him as he was UNDERAGE.

“I actually had Tinder for a while,” he said, “I think at the time you could only use Facebook pictures, and I never used my Facebook. So the only pictures of me from Facebook are when I’m like 12. I used like 6 pictures [from] my Facebook and obviously forgot about my profile.”

Try, try again, Tom. Between dancing your heart out on Lip Sync Battle and casually posing on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, we think you just MIGHT have better luck this time!

Tom Holland‘s got the moves!

The actor made an energetic entrance while promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming on Spanish TV show El Hormiguero on Wednesday (July 5) in Madrid, Spain.

During his appearance, Tom showed host Pablo Motos how to climb walls and dangle from balconies like a pro.

“You can’t really master hanging upside down,” Tom recently told Knoxville News Sentinel. “It’s not something I’ve been prepared for.”

“But yeah, my dancing and gymnastics background was so helpful to this project because we were able to do things as Peter Parker that they probably hadn’t been able to do in the past,” he added. “That said, sometimes they would overestimate my skill set. [Director] Jon [Watts] would be like, ‘Can you just back flip off that wall and land on that beam?’ and I’m like, “No, Jon. I can’t do that. I’m not that good, dude.’ Like, ‘Just climb up that wall.’ I’m like, ‘I can’t do that, Jon.’”

Don’t miss Spider-Man: Homecoming when it hits theaters on Friday (July 7)!
