Disney+ has canceled it’s first series of 2022!
The streaming service has given the axe to The Mysterious Benedict Society, which starred Tony Hale in two roles, after just two seasons.
Co-creator Phil Hay confirmed the sad news on Twitter.

Heartstopper is officially a multi-Emmy award winning Netflix series!
The hit show, which recently wrapped filming on it’s second season, was nominated for multiple awards and ended up winning a total of five across the two night event.
Stars William Gao, Sebastian Croft and Joe Locke joined producer Patrick Walters on the carpet, while William and Joe were presenters during the ceremony.
William and Sebastian also took the stage to accept the Outstanding Lead Performance in a Preschool, Children’s or Young Teen Program award on behalf of Kit Connor!
“@kit.connor bestie wake up you just won an emmy xx,” Sebastian captioned a video of their acceptance on Instagram.
Kit commented, “i’m up! thank you darling.” He also added on his own Instagram story, “well this is cool … thank you so much to everyone who watched the show!”

We are just weeks away from the season two premiere of The Mysterious Benedict Society!
Ahead of the show’s new season, Disney+ debuted a brand new trailer on Friday (October 7) at New York Comic Con.
The streamer also just debuted brand new character photos of the cast for season two.

Fans couldn’t wait to check out the Hocus Pocus sequel on Disney+ this past week!
The 30-years in the making Hocus Pocus 2 premiered on the streamer on Friday (September 30), which reunited original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Doug Jones.
With fans eager to watch the movie among the anticipation, they flocked to view it, making it the biggest film premeire to date on Disney+!

Whitney Peak and Belissa Escobedo meet up at the premiere of their new movie Hocus Pocus 2 held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Tuesday evening (September 27) in New York City.
The stars of the movie were of course joined by much of their cast mates, including Froy Gutierrez, who wore a purple ensemble.

The trailer was unveiled on Friday afternoon (September 9) at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif.
It helped kick off the Disney and Pixar movie showcase at the annual event.

The Mysterious Benedict Society is coming back for season two later this year!
The Disney+ series just got a premiere date and the trailer was also released on Thursday (September 1).
Tony Hale returns as both Mr Benedict and Dr L.D. Curtian, with Kristen Schaal, MaameYaa Boafo, Ryan Hurst, Gia Sandhu, Seth Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Mystic Inscho and Marta Kessler also returning.
