Alyssa Campanella showed off her amazing engagement ring in a new Instagram shot on Saturday (June 13), with just about the cutest story to go with it.
“Tor proposed four weeks ago (in fact, we were secretly engaged at the CBS Summer Soirée!). I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him (and our babies @countfluffo!) and I am super excited to become Mrs. Coombs!” the former Miss USA wrote. “Thank you all so so much for such heartfelt messages of love and support! It means a lot to us!”
Torrance actually designed the custom ring with Peter Young of INTA Gems & Diamonds, which is now named “The Royal Alyssa Ring”.
“The Reign and Tudors star Torrance Coombs proposed to his longtime girlfriend, former Miss USA Alyssa Campanella, the couple have been dating since 2010,” the 31-year-old Reign actor’s rep shared in a statement.
We caught up with the 24-year-old actress at the CW Upfronts where she talked about Mary being pregnant with Conde’s (Sean Teale) baby and what that means for her crown.
“Is she pregnant? Is she not pregnant? Is it Conde’s? Is it Francis’ (Toby Regbo)? Have they been getting back together on the side?” Adelaide joked with JJJ. “I think it’s going to be pretty obvious when her baby comes out with dark hair and a tan instead of blonde and blue eyes. It’s dangerous business.”
The Reign finale airs TONIGHT, May 14 @ 9PM on The CW!

In “The End of Mourning”, as Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) investigate who was behind the poisoning of King Henry (Alan Van Sprang), they unearth secrets of the past which force Mary to confront her feelings for Condé (Sean Teale) as she attempts to move forward.
Catherine (Megan Follows) finds herself in the middle of a romantic triangle when the Duke of Guise (Gil Darnell) returns, which forces Narcisse (Craig Parker) to commit a hideous act out of desperation.
Meanwhile, Greer (Celina Sinden) finds herself in a situation she never fathomed in order to survive.
“The End of Mourning” airs TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
One of our favorite royals Torrance Coombs is keeping it hot in his new feature for the January 2015 issue of Glamoholic mag.
The 31-year-old actor opened up about show business and his good luck. Check it:
On Reign: “It’s been an interesting experience. On the one hand, we’ve all become a family working on it together and it’s been the time of my life. On the other hand, the newness has worn off a bit and we shoot so many episodes it can beat you down. I still wouldn’t trade it though.”
On the business: “I’m lucky in that I’ve never really had a lot of naysayers. Everyone close to me has always told me (to my face) that they believed in me. I’ve also worked fairly steady so I’ve had the sense I’m on the right path. I was also lucky to have some people take big chances on me when I was starting out.”
On the blessing of Canada: “My career started in Canada. It’s a much smaller casting pool so you don’t feel as much like you’re struggling to be noticed. It frees you up to be yourself instead of who you think they want you to be. I tired to bring that mentality south with me when I jumped into the big pond.”
