Avan Jogia isn’t too happy with on-screen mom Denise Richards in this new still from Twisted.
In tonight’s episode “Grief is a Five-Letter Word,” As everyone at school tries to move on with the aid of grief counselor April (Keiko Agena), Jo (Maddie Hasson) battles with her father over her friendship with Danny (Jogia) as she and Rico set out to prove Danny’s innocence.
In an effort to show that he is a normal kid, Danny and Jo set up a dinner between their two families, which goes awry when the adults drudge up past grievances. Meanwhile, Lacey (Kylie Bunbury) struggles to cope with her emotions and bristles when former ‘frenemy,’ Phoebe (Brittany Curran), attempts to bond with her.

ABC Family just announced the pick up of Twisted, (formerly Socio) for the upcoming summer season.
The show is a one-hour mystery full of twists and turns that is centered on a charismatic 16-year-old (Jogia) with a troubled past who recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood. He becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is surprisingly found dead in her home.
Maddie Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, and Denise Richards also star.
