Val Chmerkovskiy and brother Maksim partner up for a dance on stage during opening night of their Maks & Val: Our Way Tour earlier in the week in Melbourne, Fla.
The two pro dancer brothers celebrated on stage with a cake after the show and the cast of dancers.
“They co-choreographed, co-produced and co-created it and the result makes clear their abilities extend beyond the dance floor. They’ve used their unlikely personal journey as a through-line and, at least for the first half of the show, it delivers with an impact and substance that was missing when another famous DWTS pair – Derek and Julianne Hough – came through town with their sibling act two years ago,” one review of the show wrote.
Val thanked the fans after the first show, writing, “Wow what a night. thank you Melbourne, thank you for your time your presence it was a night I’ll never forget.”
