Vanessa Hudgens is opening up about the rumors of her appearing on the fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
The original High School Musical star had fans freaking out when she visited East High over the summer.
Then about a month later Zac Efron also posted a photo in the same spot, leading HSM and HSMTMTS fans to speculate about both of them being on the Disney+ spinoff series.
Showrunner and creator Tim Federle said that Zac and Vanessa visiting the school, where they filmed the movies and the TV show, was just “divine coincidence.”
A couple months later, it was announced that six OG High School Musical stars would in fact return to the franchise for the Disney+ series’ upcoming fourth season, leading fans to think that it wasn’t that coincidental.
Now, Vanessa is sharing why she shared her post and commented whether she would be returning alongside her former co-stars.

Vanessa Hudgens and her younger sister Stella Hudgens are enjoying a trip abroad right now!
The 33-year-old actress was dressed in a colorful bikini while resting at the beach on Wednesday (July 27) in Forte dei Marmi, Italy.
Stella took to Instagram to share photos from the beach day and wrote, “who wants to teach me italian.”
The sisters are in Italy to attend LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF’s gala, which is taking place this weekend in Capri. Vanessa is one of the event chairs.
Did you see that Vanessa recently paid a visit to East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah? It’s the school where High School Musical was filmed. There are unconfirmed rumors she might be making an appearance in season three of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Vanessa Hudgens wears a cutout dress while attending the No Kid Hungry x Cali Cares charity event held at Spago on Sunday (July 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 33-year-old actress joined her Caliwater co-founder Oliver Trevena as the duo hosted the event.
Also in attendance were soon-to-be parents Peter Facinelli and Lily Anne Harrison, and besties Andrew Matarazzo and Marta Pozzan.
No Kid Hungry is an organization working to help end childhood hunger in the United States by helping provide meals to those in need. They help with school meals and distributing grants to schools, food banks and community groups.
You can donate to No Kid Hungry x Cali Cares HERE to help children in need of a meal.
Caliwater has also previously pledged to donate five cents for every can purchased to No Kid Hungry. The event was supported by Know Beauty and Fabletics.

Vanessa Hudgens looked absolutely amazing at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards!
The 22-year-old star hit the red carpet at Barker Hangar on Sunday (June 5) in Santa Monica, Calif., in a gorgeous blue dress with a chiffon tail on the end.
Vanessa will be hosting the main show tonight, which will honor the best of movies and television for the past year.
Jack Black will be honored with the Comedic Genius Award live in-show, and Jennifer Lopez will receive the Generation Award.
The 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards will air tonight, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
