Sarah, who was joined by fiance Wells Adams, showed her style in a pretty pink gown. Meanwhile, Ariel opted for a neon sequined gown with a high slit.

The 29-year-old Modern Family star danced along the beach on Tuesday afternoon (December 31) in Cancun.

Sarah and her fiance Wells Adams were joined by The Real O’Neals actor Matt Shively and his girlfriend Ashley Newbrough. They were all seen dancing around the beach and the guys threw a football around.
Matt shared a video of himself falling off a ledge and into the water while Ashley attempted to save him. He wrote, “Mexico has treated me really well…. notice how Ashley heroically tries to save me after I counted to 3 and she decided not to jump… which lead to me trying to stop and… well you see the rest.”

The day before, Sarah wished her good friend and bridesmaid Vanessa Hudgens a “Happy Birthday”.

“I think it’d be cute to have bad food, but elevated for the cocktail hour,” Sarah shared with ET at the event. “Like chicken and waffles, you know?”
Wells is looking for a different kind of food though: “I just want a taco truck.”

Congratulations are in order for Sarah Hyland, who just announced that she is engaged!
The 28-year-old Modern Family actress will be marrying her longtime boyfriend Wells Adams, 35. You might recognize him from appearances on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
Sarah shared a series of photos while Wells posted the proposal video to his account.
“That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff,” Sarah captioned her post. Wells wrote, “I’ll be Johnny, you be June. But forever.”
The engagement ring was designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

Wells Adams has not introduced his parents to Sarah Hyland‘s parents yet because of their differing political views.
“My parents haven’t met Sarah‘s parents and for good reason,” Wells said on the Your Favorite Thing podcast. “They both fall on opposite sides of the political spectrum and I’m just sure someone’s going to get into a fight about something.”
He added that they will meet at their wedding (though they are not yet engaged), saying, “They are going to hang out one time and it’s going to be at the wedding and the directive is no one is allowed to talk about politics.”
“It will be liberal actors and my dad and my family who are a bunch of conservatives. My dad’s a doctor, my brother-in-law is from oil money in Texas. It’s going to be so weird,” Wells said.
