“Filmed on my iphone 6S so bare with me!! haha,” Wesley captioned it. “While I was in Sequim Washington visiting my sister, we decided to make a cover!”
“We don’t really know what we’re doing, but it’s gonna be fun,” he says.
Check out Wesley‘s version of the song, featuring his sister Brooke as well as Allison Bradley, below!
The singer, who just dropped a new single with Alek Fincalled “If Only”, is featured in the Instagram magazine and JJJ can exclusively reveal the first pic!
The former Emblem3 singer has teamed up with Alek Fin, forming a hot artist and producer duo and they’re letting JJJexclusively premiere their first single — “If Only”
“We actually wrote ‘If Only’ from start to finish the first day we met,” Wes and Alek tells JJJ.
Their partnership was formed after an understanding was made — “We agreed that our tracks had to draw from real-life experiences and come from a place of truth regardless of how it would impact ‘pop structure’ and ‘hit potential’. All our work since has stayed true to that.”
“If Only” will be featured on their forthcoming EP, Syna, a collection of tracks written by the both of them, recorded and engineered at Alek‘s Echo Park studio late last year.
The song will actually be on Spotify on Monday, so be sure to rack up the streams there too!
We were really sad when Emblem3 disbanded for the second time around last year and it seems there are some unresolved issues about it all.
In an exchange on social media this week, Wesley Stromberg called out former bandmate Drew Chadwick for the reason he said was why he left the band.
“I didn’t leave,” Drew says. “The band fell apart because we don’t get along and don’t collaborate with finesse. Art is about freedom, not confinement.”
Wesley replied back, saying, “Drew you need to be honest with everyone. You left the band cause you thought it would be easier to do whatever you want.”
We don’t know what exactly happened, but before the guys disbanded for the second time, they released their “End of the Summer” video.
Drew you need to be honest with everyone. You left the band cause you thought it would be easier to do whatever you want.
The Thundermans actor (and singer apparently) uploaded a video of himself rocking a blazer and strumming along to the tune on his guitar.
“‘Mistletoe’ … Throwback holiday Bieber vibes,” he captioned the Instagram clip. Ft my colorful flashing Christmas tree / nifty new apple ear pods … MERRY CHRISTMAS !!”
Meanwhile, the Emblem3 singer shared a video of his catchy cover on his YouTube channel.
