Jonathan is loose and there’s just no holding him back right now on Shadowhunters.

Will Tudor spoke to EW ahead of tonight’s all-new episode and revealed that there’s really nothing Jonathan won’t do right now.

“He’s being pushed to the end of his tether,” Will says. “We’ll start to see his true nature, I think, and there’s no length he won’t go to to get what he wants because he feels like he doesn’t have anything left. He’s a very dangerous man now.”

But, Will also admits that there still is some good left in him — somewhere.

“He’s a product of complete neglect. He doesn’t want to do these things,” he says. “His aim is to lead a normal life, he just doesn’t really understand how he can do that, so he fixates on Clary as his possibility of redemption.”

In tonight’s episode, “Hail and Farewell”, with Valentine and Jonathan on the loose, the Downworlders come together to make a surprising choice.

Will Tudor is pretty much killing it as Sebastian/Jonathan on Shadowhunters right now.

The actor spoke with Hidden Remote about his character’s storylines and dished on just how Clary might be the one to save them both.

After Clary was the only one willing to give Jonathan a second chance, Will explained that she might be his only chance at a happy ending.

“We’ll see his mind become more focused on Clary and her as sort of an end point to the possibility of happiness,” he explains. “But very much so…that kindness was everything he needed to hear: ‘Yes she does love me; she does care about me.’ She’s the person that he’s created in his head, this idealized version of his sister who would drop everything for him and make everything ok.”

In fact, Clary might be his only saving grace.

Will adds, “That’s what he wants, he just wants someone to love him at the end of the day, and in his head he’s created this idea of this perfect person who can fill that hole and that void. That becomes a great fixation for him.”

We can’t help but be charmed by Sebastian’s smile in our exclusive clip from this week’s Shadowhunters episode.

In the clip, we see Sebastian come face to face with cousin Aline, a fierce, confident Shadowhunter and an old friend to the New York Institute, who actually thought he was dead for a while! Hmm…

Elsewhere in Monday’s episode, Simon looks for a distraction with an evening out with some of his new vampire friends, but what started out as a night to let loose quickly turns much darker.

The next morning, he wakes up with no memory of the night before and a dead body he now has to answer for.

Shadowhunters airs MONDAY, July 10th @ 8PM ET/PT on Freeform.

Is there a secret Shadowhunters couple we don’t know about?

Fans on social media seem to be convinced that Katherine McNamara (aka Clary) is dating her on-screen brother Will Tudor (Sebastian) in real life.

There’s no real evidence to support this, but shippers seem to be freaking out over photos of them abroad recently.

At this point, it’s just rumors, so don’t get too excited just yet.

Meanwhile, fans are also reallyyyy trying to hate his character, but Will is just so damn charming. It’s hard. (We’re with them on this one.)

Dominic Sherwood and Will Tudor may be really good friends off-screen, but on-screen, Jace Wayland knows a psycho when he sees one.

In a couple of new interviews, the Shadowhunters star opened up about Will’s Sebastian, calling him a complete “psychopath”.

“We’ve been doing interviews for the past two or three months, and I’ll I’ve wanted to say is, ‘No! Don’t trust him because he’s a total dick!’” he shared.

“But you can’t say that yet because he’s super charming and lovely on screen. But now, I can be like, ‘See? See, I told you! He’s a nightmare. He’s got another person all bloody and chained up in his closet! That’s crazy!’”

Dominic added, “Not only is he this crazed maniac, kind of Silence of the Lambs�style crazy person, but [the Clave] welcomed him in…so now we not only have Valentine to worry about, we have this mole.”

He’s hot, charming, and crazy and JJJ can not wait to see how it all plays out.

You can’t deny that Will Tudor is very cute and very charming, something that’s translated to his new character of Sebastian on Shadowhunters.

Fans loved Sebastian’s introduction, but are having serious issues because they know (spoiler alert from the books) that he’s evil!

“Well…is it even possible to hate Sebastian, when Will Tudor is such a cute and handsome human being?” one fan wrote after watching the summer premiere episode on Monday.

Shadowhunters‘ season 2b is less than a month away and we’re wondering more and more about just what Sebastian’s arrival will bring.

Thankfully, Katherine McNamara and Will Tudor, who actually plays Sebastian, are giving us the scoop on it all.

“He is definitely a character that comes in and becomes a huge influence to the story,” Katherine teases. “He provides insight into some challenges that we have that he has knowledge beyond our own expertise and helps us to solve a lot of problems.”

Will adds, “I think they’re [fans are] going to love that they don’t know where they are with him, and I think they’re going to love that he is everything to anyone who he wants that to be.”

“When we first meet him, he is this kind of this swashbuckling hero who comes in and saves the day,” Will continues. “He and Izzy have sort of a meeting…he’s a bit of a hero in that situation. She has a bit of trouble and he’s very sort of conscientious, very thoughtful.”

Kat also says that Sebastian is a character who connects will the major players, not just Clary.

“[Sebastian] is able to help her [Clary] through a major roadblock that she’s having. So they end up with a very close connection from the beginning, and he helps Isabelle deal with some things as well.”

And that’s not all — “He helps Alec when it comes to his responsibilities, and he’s kind of able to fit himself into our group very quickly. How that will affect things in the future remains to be seen…”
