Willa Fitzgerald steps out in a chic outfit for BBC’s Little Women panel during the 2018 TCA Tour on Tuesday afternoon (January 16) in Pasadena, Calif.
During the panel, Annes, Willa and Maya opened up about their sisterly bond on and off screen.
“It is a bit insane. They know more about me than anybody in the world and I think likewise,” Annes told Variety. “We started off on Day 1 sharing things that we’d never shared with anybody before, and from that point on there was no point having any less interesting conversations.”
Maya, who is the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, is also making her screen debut with the mini-series.
“When I was offered the role, I didn’t feel any pressure. I’m like, ‘I’m obviously the right person to play this part,’” she shared. “It was only after, when I realized everyone else thinks that they’re Jo, too, did I start to feel the weight of the world upon my shoulders.”
Little Women will debut on PBS Masterpiece in May.
Bea Miller and Alycia Debnam-Carey both look stunning while attending the W Magazine It Girls Luncheon, in partnership with Jimmy Choo, on Wednesday (September 7) at Le Coucou in New York City.
The 25-year-old actress opened up about acting, her musical talents and more. Check it:
On her hidden musical talent: “I very seriously played piano through the beginning of high school and always saw that as a fun side job. [Once] I started acting, it took up a lot of the time that I once spent waking up at five a.m. to practice piano.”
On joining MTV”s Scream series: “I read the pilot script before I auditioned and I just thought it was really well written. It was just one of those things where you read it and you’re like ‘oh that’s appealing.’ Emma is such an interesting character because shes literally thrown into a world where everything is trying to kill her. The threat is coming from all sides and she has no idea where it is actually coming from and that’ a fascinating point to begin from with a character. A really unknown threat and the possibility of constant attack.”
On her career: “I think what’s most fulfilling about this industry is that it is so small and you realize that when you start to encounter the same people time and time again. Working with someone you’ve already built a rapport with leads to more creativity. You can create better things more quickly because you’ve already got a short hand for how you’re going to work with each other.”
Willa Fitzgerald has joined a brand new movie called Misfortune.
According to Variety, the 25-year-old Scream actress will join John Cusack in the indie drama.
The flick will center on a business man who becomes separated from his embezzled money in the remote wilderness. Three college students discover the money while canoeing and their friendships are tested by the lure of keeping the cash.
Willa will portray one of the boys’ girlfriend.
Edward Lucky McKee will direct and production will starts in September in Savannah, Georgia.
