Val Chmerkovskiy Reveals The Way He Asked Jenna Johnson's Father For Permission To Propose To Her

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson hit the stage for a hot dance number during the Dancing with the Stars: Live! A Night To Remember tour held at Radio City Music Hall on Tuesday night (January 15) in New York City.

The engaged dancers performed on stage with their DWTS family Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, Hayley Erbert, Artem Chigvinsev, Britt Stewart, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, and Witney Carson.

Just last week, Val shared a funny story of just how he asked Jenna‘s father permission to marry her.

“Fun lil throwback from the #MVPTour,” Val captioned the pic on Instagram. “The Johnsons came to watch our show. After this beautiful embrace, I asked Dr. Johnson for his permission to marry his beautiful daughter… He said ‘FINE, just let go of me.’”

He added, “Whatever it takes guys, whatever it takes.”

LOL! Val and Jenna are planning their wedding now.

Speaking in a new interview, Witney reflected on her time as a mentor on Dancing With The Stars Juniors, whose finale airs this weekend.

“It was very different for me,” she says. “I really, really loved it because I was able to kind of connect with these kids and teach them in a different way than I normally do. I wasn’t dancing, so I had to completely let go of my control and trust that they’d be okay. I really got to love them, genuinely.”

Witney adds that she hopes it does come back for a second season, “because I would love to do it again.”

Milo Manheim Is So Happy That Bobby Bones & Sharna Burgess Won 'DWTS'

Milo Manheim Is So Happy That Bobby Bones & Sharna Burgess Won 'DWTS'

Milo Manheim isn’t a sore loser at all – in fact, he might just be the best runner-up ever on Dancing With The Stars.

Speaking to ET after the finale in Los Angeles on Monday night (November 19), the 17-year-old actor revealed that he could not be happier for the winning team.

“I am so happy for Bobby and Sharna, they totally deserved it,” he shared. “They killed it out there and they are great people, and I am super happy for them.”

Milo added that he did feel his and Witney Carson‘s final two dances were the best of their abilities though.

“This was our best night, we got two perfect scores,” Milo shared. “That freestyle was by far the most rewarding dance of the season … I went out there, I took a deep breath in, and I was like, ‘This is it. This is the last one,’ and it was so special. I am never going to forget that dance.”

It was also revealed that Milo gifted the entire cast and crew with chargers to wrap up the season.

“In this business, we are always running around. We have no time to charge our phones, so I always find that my phone is dead,” Milo dished, revealing the reasoning behind the gift.

“So, I got everyone little, like, portable chargers, and they say, ‘Thank you for making this the most memorable year.’ We got, like, 300 chargers.”

So sweet!
