Kodi Smit-McPhee is feeling blue while looking totally different for his role as Nightcrawler in the upcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse!

“BAMF! Guess who? #Nightcrawler #XMenApocalypse,” the 18-year-old actor captioned the photo on his Instagram account on Monday morning (April 27).

“First day on set! Here is @kodismitmcpheee as #Nightcrawler. Catch him before he’s gone.�” director Bryan Singer wrote on his Twitter account.

The 25-year-old actor just revealed some sad news for X-Men fans – he might be leaving the franchise after the next film is released!

“This is the last one I’m signed up for,” Nicholas told E! News.

“The first one did so well and [Days of Future Past] got received so brilliantly,” he continued. “It’s like, ‘Wow, people really want to see the films’ and the best thing is it’s a great crew and cast to work with and he’s a fun character. I have a good time playing him so I’d keep making them.”

British newcomer Ben Hardy is the latest actor to be added to the star-studded cast of the upcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse.

The 24-year-old actor, who stars on the BBC soap series EastEnders, is going to play a key role in the film, according to TheWrap.

There are some reports that Ben will be playing the role of Angel, though these are not confirmed at all.

Ben will be joining a cast consisting of Jennifer Lawrence and newcomers like Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, and Alexandra Shipp. The film will be released on May 27, 2016.

Chloe Moretz, Elle Fanning, and Hailee Steinfeld are all being considered for the role of young Jean Grey in Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse, according to The Wrap!

The film is also looking at Ben Hardy, Charlie Rowe, and Timothee Chalamet for the role of young Cyclops in the film, which is scheduled to start filming in the spring of 2015.

A source shared that Chloe and Dakota met with Bryan in recent weeks as he starts searching for the perfect Jean Grey, who will also appear in future X-Men movies.
