The D’Amelio family have started their own YouTube channel!

Charli, Dixie, and parents Marc and Heidi will all be featured on the new channel, and their first video is a sit down interview with NBC’s Gadi Schwartz.

The family talked about their rise to fame, starting out on TikTok and the constant bullying and mean things that people say online.

“If you have followers, you’re not considered a person, you’re just the thing that people get to judge and objectify, and call names, and bully because what are they gonna do?” Charli says. “They’re most of the time not gonna see it or I’ll say something back, ‘I never thought you were gonna see it.’ So it’s like they don’t expect it to hurt us, but we all do.”

Last month, Dixie revealed that the family will in fact be getting their own reality show after months of speculation!

David Dobrik Reveals He Doesn't Make Any Money Off of YouTube

David Dobrik revealed something a little bit shocking – he doesn’t really make money from his YouTube channel.

The 24-year-old Dodgeball Thunderdome host shared a new interview that his videos don’t bring much of a profit.

“I don’t make any money on YouTube. I don’t get paid for the videos on my channel. They’re all demonetized and copyrighted by labels,” David told ET‘s Katie Krause. “I can tell you, my paycheck right now is under $800 which is very low to be able to produce those videos because there’s a lot of things I have to pay for.”

“It’s really low. It got cut after all the advertisers backed out, then they came back in but my type of videos, because I have swearing and stuff, weren’t really being paid for as much. I don’t make money on that,” he added.

David‘s YouTube channel boasts 18.2 million subscribers at the time of this posting, with almost eight billion views!

Fellow YouTubers React to Jenna Marbles Quitting YouTube

Jenna Marbles is saying goodbye to Youtube, for the unforeseeable future.

The content creator has been making videos on the platform for the past 10 years.

Jenna uploaded a new video on Thursday (June 25) explaining why she was stepping away, and apologizing for past offensive videos.

“I think I’m just going to move on from this channel for now. I don’t know if that’s forever, I don’t know how long it’s gonna be. I just want to make sure that the things that I put into the world are not hurting anyone. I’m just gonna stop for now, or forever, I don’t know,” Jenna said. “I’ll probably take this video down because it’s embarrassing and just let whatever, just live and just be. That’s it. I want to say thank you for your support for those of you that care about me and have been watching me for a long time. I appreciate it. I want to hold myself accountable and it’s painful to do it. I’m ashamed of things I’ve done and said in my past. I hope this felt like something that you needed to hear from me.”

“I’m not sure that I want to continue doing stuff on this channel, and I don’t want to put anything out in the world that’s going to hurt anybody,” she continued. “I need to be done with this channel for now, or forever, I don’t know.”

After Jenna posted her video, many fans and fellow YouTubers took to Twitter to share positive messages of support and sadness.

“I really strongly believe that we should be judged not by how we acted when we were ignorant, but how we responded when we were informed. By that measure, Jenna Marbles is head and shoulders beyond a great many YouTubers,” Hank Green posted.

“Jenna marbles leaving youtube feels like you’re going through a breakup and you’re devastated but you love them so much so you’re happy for them that they’re choosing their own happiness but ur still gonna cry everytime you think about your old times together because u love them,” Morgan Adams wrote.

James Charles Says 'Instant Influencer' Season 1 Wasn't as Good as He Hoped, Announces Season 2!

James Charles Says 'Instant Influencer' Season 1 Wasn't as Good as He Hoped, Announces Season 2!

James Charles is opening up about season one of his YouTube makeup competition series Instant Influencer!

In a recent video, the 21-year-old beauty YouTuber shared that the first season wasn’t as good as he hoped it would be.

“The show was amazing, we’re so proud of it, it was so entertaining. It obviously was such a positive thing for the community, for the artists involved and for us. Favorite thing that I’ve ever done in my entire life,” James said. “But in comparison to what we wanted to do for season one, the show was awful… the show wasn’t awful…”

“Basically, we had so many hopes and dreams for what we wanted the show to be for season one, but because it was a season one, we weren’t able to make a lot of those things happen,” he continued. “If you guys thought the show was good, it would have been 18 billion times better, had we been able to actually make those things happen.”

“But, those things are now happening for season two…” James teased. “We just weren’t able to make it happen because of season one, budgets, there’s a lot of things involved to making a show.”

The day after uploading his video, it was officially announced that Instant Influencer would be getting a second season.

“Soooo @YouTube made the announcement this morning but I thought I’d make it official too…#InstantInfluencer got picked up for SEASON TWO!! If y’all thought season ONE was good… just wait,” James wrote on Twitter.
