Zac Efron suits up for the smoldering hot cover of Flaunt magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now!
The 25-year-old actor opened up to the glossy about his past and where he wants his career to go in the future. Check it:
On growing up: “My dad was a pretty intense dude, who used to actually spend time with me in the backyard, you know, playing catch, and we both knew that I was short, I was a small. But I was athletic, and I always felt like I was smarter than everyone, even the adults in the room, but my size held me back. So I just got better than everyone else, by working at it. I would throw the ball harder and faster than everyone—go harder—because I was smaller.”
On his High School Musical days: “Here’s the one thing about High School Musical that a lot of people forget or don’t realize. It affected a lot of people, its resonance, culturally, was massive, and at the same time, it was in every sense of it, the luckiest break in the world.”
On his acting career: “I know I’m not in this for the money. I’m trying to make something good, that I care about, and to make sure that it matters. But I’m not even sure it matters.”
“Yeah, like, we have each other’s numbers!” she told Buzzfeed. “And he’s such a cool dude. Something people might not know about him is he’s a really good freestyle rapper. Like, really good. Like, he could go in and battle.”
Zac Efron has a laugh on stage during a Q&A for his flick At Any Price at the Paramount Theatre on Saturday night (March 16) in Austin, Tx.
The 25-year-old actor was joined on stage by his co-star Dennis Quaid and the flick’s director Ramin Bahrani.
“I think I appreciated Dean’s struggle and what he was going through,” Zac explained about his character in the movie. “He’s trying to divert from the pack. I believe that that’s our generation. I identified with it, I agreed with it.”
Later, one fan in the audience asked Zac to go to prom with her! Watch the full Q&A with the cast below…
