Val Chmerkovskiy plants a kiss on Zendaya‘s hand during their Cha Cha on Monday night’s (April 22) Dancing With The Stars in Los Angeles.

The fan favorite team earned a total of 29 points for their dance set to Stevie Wonder‘s “Do I Do.”

“There’s one word that sums up great dancing: Zendaya,” judge Len Goodman shared after her performance.

Zendaya is all smiles while leaving a Dancing with the Stars rehearsal on Thursday night (April 18) in Hollywood.

The 16-year-old actress/singer and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy stopped to chat in the parking lot before leaving for the night.

“I love working with Zendaya and dancing with her,” Val told WetPaint recently about their Dancing with the Stars partnership. “The friendship that we’re building is great.”

Zendaya and partner Val Chmerkovskiy are ruling the leader board this season on Dancing With The Stars and JJJ can’t stop watching them.

Val, 26, caught up with Wetpaint about being paired with the 16-year-old actress, and youngest contestant ever on the show.

“She has a great attitude, and she wants to put in the work. At first, I was hesitant with this partnership because I’m a very passionate dancer. For me, ballroom dance is about a man and a woman and all of the chemistry between those two. So being partnered with a 16-year-old teen sensation was difficult in the beginning,” he confessed. He added, “It’s been a challenge, but I think it’s been great. I love working with Zendaya and dancing with her. The friendship that we’re building is great.”

Val dished about the upcoming hip-hop week, “Oh, yeah, we’re going to kill it. The point is, the more talent you give me, the more work I’m going to put in. So it’s really motivating for me to have someone who can do the choreography, but I want the fans to know she’s not picking this up in 20 minutes. She puts in four or five hours a work every day. We’re not taking any short cuts. None of this is easy for her.”

Zendaya goes for some color as she arrives for an appearance on Extra at The Grove on Wednesday afternoon (April 17) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the week, Z flashed a smile while sitting down for a math lesson with her tutor during a break from rehearsals.
