OlderKeke Palmer: 'I Don't Want to Get Slimed Again'
Keke Palmer recently sat down with OK! mag before the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards and dished about slime, designers and Aaliyah. Check out what the 15-year-old actress had to say:
On her favorite designers of the moment: “I really like Lamb, Gwen Stefani’s line. I love the bags and the shoes and I wore a pair of her shoes in my video.”
On her dream role: “Aaliyah. I loved her and think her story should be told.”
On getting slimed at the KCAs: “I’m not getting slimed! I’ve gotten slimed before and let me tell you it’s not something that I want to happen again. Like slime, like icky stuff. I thought it would be cool, but the way it sticks to you it’s like slimy and it’s hard to get off. It’s like slimy, it’s like beast, especially when it get it gets in your hair. The Australian kind [of slime] is edible and made with apples, yogurt and good stuff, but not the American version of slime, I don’t know why.”
On what she does on a day off: “I love to chill out at home and talk to my friends. I like to write in my journal and talk on my phone. My phone is my connection to everyone and I like to have parties with my friends sometimes. My parents got hotel room recently for me and my friends to hang out and watch movies and stuff.”
