Monique Coleman Lights Up UNICEF
Monique Coleman takes a hold of the giant light switch as she prepares to turn on the Christmas lights at the 2009 UNICEF Snowflake Lighting Ceremony on Rodeo Drive & Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening (November 21).
The former DWTS competitor shared with the press about being chosen to light Rodeo Drive up. Monique said, “I am honored to participate in the Beverly Hills lighting ceremony by illuminating the UNICEF Snowflake. And I am proud to support UNICEF’s mission to provide immunization, education, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation to children in need.”
Monique lit up the famous shopping district with the Beverly Hills Snowflake which contains 12,000 Baccarat crystals, is 17 feet wide and over 14 feet tall, weighs 1,600 pounds and is illuminated by 125 steady-burning and 300 high-powered flashing LED lights. WOW!
