Heather Hemmens: I'm a Sassy Latina!

Heather Hemmens recently opened up to Latina.com about her roots and her role on the hit CW show Hellcats.

The 22-year-old actress stars opposite Ashley Tisdale as the character Alice Verdura, who she calls the mean girl on the show.

“When I [get injured] and can’t cheer anymore, I try to get my power back and I do some very manipulative and nasty things,” she said.

While she’s not anything like her character, Heather said that she has a “sass that [she] makes no apologies for.”

Heather has a father who is white and a mother from Costa Rica, but she says she simply identifies herself as Latina.
