Dakota Fanning: Starring in 'Effie'

Dakota Fanning has her next project lined up!

The 17-year-old actress will play the title role of Effie, a biopic penned by Emma Thompson about the unfortunate marriage between Euphemia Gray (Fanning) and the famed critic John Ruskin in 1850s London.

Effie’s husband never consummated the marriage over five years and the young girl fell in love with Ruskin’s protégé, painter John Everett Millais. Greg Wise and Tom Sturridge also star in the film.

Dakota is currently shooting Now Is Good in London with Kaya Scodelario and Jeremy Irvine.
