Avan Jogia hits up the 2013 GLAAD Media Awards held at JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE on Saturday evening (April 20) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old actor wrote what gives him courage at the annual fete: his family.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.
