Leighton Meester: Broadway's 'Of Mice & Men' Role!

Leighton Meester is set to take the stage in her Broadway debut in the upcoming production Of Mice and Men!

According to Variety, the 27-year-old actress will be joining the previously announced James Franco and Chris O’Dowd in the play based on a novel about about two drifters who try to make money working the fields, all the while fulfilling their dreams during the Great Depression.

Leighton will play the role of Curley’s wife, “the woman who figures into the tragic ending of the well-known John Steinbeck tale.”

The show’s previews will begin on March 19 with an official opening night set for April 16. It will play a limited engagement through July 27.
