'The Vampire Diaries' 100th Episode Spoilers!

We can’t believe the 100th episode of The Vampire Diaries is coming up already!

To hold us over until then, executive producer Julie Plec caught up with TVLine.com to give fans something to look forward to!

In addition to a slew of surprises (and one or two familiar faces!), she told the site, “[Katherine, who's dying] doesn’t have a huge fan base at the Salvatore house where she is, so Stefan (Paul Wesley) is the person who’s there for her.”

Meanwhile, it will be a “huge” hour for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev), who are still dealing with the aftermath of their breakup. “[We] see how they’re both handling it,” EP Caroline Dries said. “There’s still so much that is unresolved about it.”

Meanwhile, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) will “hit some speed bumps” and Caroline (Candice Accola) “needs some lovin!” We’re holding out hope that it’s Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who is headed back to Mystic Falls!

The Vampire Diaries returns on Thursday, January 23 @ 8PM on The CW!
