Sophie Turner & Eleanor Tomlinson: Jameson Empire Awards 2014

Sophie Turner goes green for the 2014 Jameson Empire Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday evening (March 30) in London, England.

The 18-year-old Game of Thrones actress was joined on the carpet by Eleanor Tomlinson.

It was just announced that Eleanor has joined BBC’s upcoming drama, Poldark.

She’ll play Demelza, the main character in the classic Winston Graham novels, who falls in love with Captain Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) in Winston Graham’s series of classic novels.

“I will do my utmost to do justice to the spirit of Demelza,” Eleanor shared in a statement. “She’s such an iconic character, who was so brilliantly played by [the late] Angharad Rees, and I will do my very best to try not to disappoint the army of Poldark fans out there. I am conscious of the fact that the original series had a huge following and was tremendously popular.”
