Sarah Hyland Will Not Talk About Restraining Order Against Matt Prokop

Sarah Hyland will not be discussing the restraining order she has obtained against her ex-boyfriend Matt Prokop, her lawyer has said.

“Out of respect for the court, the process and all parties, I have advised Ms. Hyland not to comment on the matter,” her lawyer Lee A. Sherman said in a statement (via People).

In the court documents she filed, Sarah claims that Matt was abusive during over the course of their five-year relationship. The allegations say that he called her derogatory names, threw objects at her, threatened the life of her dog, threatened to burn her house down, and even said she deserves to die.

Sarah, who stars on Modern Family, seems to be in good spirits after the news went wide. She posted a cute photo on Instagram on Wednesday night (September 24) with the caption: “A rare patch of (fake) grass in the city and a sandwich. What more could a girl want?”
