How To Get Away With Murder‘s Karla Souza turns heads in a hot pink dress and silver heels for an interview at The Grove in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (October 3).

“Laurel is the quiet observer. She prefers not to speak – she doesn’t like to chitchat,” the 28-year-old actress shared recently about her character on the new hit ABC show.

Karla added, “She’s kind of an underdog in that way. She also has a very high moral ground. I guess she’s an idealist. She thinks the law is there to help the less fortunate. Once she goes into the Ivy League and she starts to work at the firm with Viola Davis’ character, Professor Keating, her whole world is changed. She sees that the law can also be scary and can be used to people’s advantage. She’s starting to see the other side of the coin.”
