Maisie Williams Premieres 'The Falling' At London's BFI Film Festival

Maisie Williams walks the red carpet for the premiere of her new film, The Falling, during the 2014 BFI London Film Festival at Odeon West End in London on Saturday afternoon (October 11).

The 17-year-old actress stars as Lydia in the film from Carol Morley, which is set in 1969 and finds a friendship strained when a mysterious case of mass hysteria hits their school.

“It was fantastic. On set we would speak so much about what happened to us at school, and it was so nice to do that, and go back to the years that I missed,” Maisie dished on the carpet about filming the movie. “Every morning coming in and saying good morning to the teacher and things like that, that was really exciting.”

She added, “And to be surrounded by so many girls of a similar age, chatting about the similarities and differences of being in this industry, it was lovely.”
