Nick Jonas Says Girlfriend Olivia Culpo Was 'In Full Panic' During Serenade at Miss Universe Competition

If Nick Jonas got down on one knee in front of a billion people, we’d be in full panic too.

The 22-year-old singer/actor chatted with The Sun about how his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, turned panicky after he got down on one knee in front of her during his performance of “Jealous” at the Miss Universe 2015 Competition over the weekend in Miami, Fla.

“I went down and sang to her and I go on a knee and approached her. Her face was in full panic, she thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people,” Nick shared with the paper (via The Daily Mail). However, it was not a proposal.

Nick continued, “We’re 22 so there’s plenty of time to do that [marriage].”

Olivia added later on her Instagram, “Best part of tonight. Being serenaded by this stud.”
