Richard Madden Reveals His Buddies' Reaction to 'Cinderella'

The 28-year-old actor was joined by director Kenneth Branagh and Spanish singer Edurne.

Richard opened up to the New York Post recently about how his friends originally laughed at him for playing Prince Charming, but then their opinions changed upon seeing the film.

“Endlessly. They could not stop, and they made fun of me about it for a long time,” Richard said. “Then I actually brought them to London to the first screening, and after the film, they all had smiles ear to ear and puffy eyes from crying. So I got the last laugh there.”
