Jake T. Austin Confirms 'The Fosters' Exit After Shocking Season Finale
Jake T. Austin has just confirmed his exit from the ABC Family show The Fosters!
“I’m honored to have been a part of such a groundbreaking series, but I personally want to let you know that my time on the show has come to an end. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family, it’s been a pleasure. -JTA,” the 20-year-old actor wrote on Twitter.

Jake shared the news right after the season finale of the show aired. In the last seconds of the episode, his character Jesus got into a serious car accident with his biological mother and sister Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) in which one fatality was confirmed.
