Val Chmerkovskiy plays around the parking lot with a basketball during some downtime at the dance studio in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (April 4).

The 29-year-old pro dancer met up later with his celeb partner Rumer Willis to work on their waltz before Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars show.
