Little Mix: 'We're A Strong Force, We're Not To Be Messed With'

Little Mix wow in these hot shots from Hunger TV.

The girls — Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock — opened up about the industry and being a strong voice for girl groups. Check it:

On winning X-Factor: “If you come off The X-Factor and expect everything to be handed to you, that’s when it falls apart. That’s where a lot of artists that come off The X-Factor fall down, they’re there and then they’re gone in a flash. We had to work so hard and I don’t think people realise that it was never easy but we kept that mentality up and that’s why I think we’ve been successful. Anyone that says it’s not credible, I’d like to see them give it a go!”

On keeping personal lives personal: “It’s because people that aren’t in this industry believe everything they read. Individually we’ve learnt how to deal with it when people chat shit about us, but in the beginning it was horrible, we weren’t used to people coming out of the woodwork to say nasty things about us. I think the only time it gets really upsetting though, is when it affects us as a group. Once a magazine brought out a two page spread about us that we were breaking up because we all hated Perrie. We know it’s not true but fans or other people that pick that up and read it start to believe it, and then they think there’s a problem.”

On being a strong girl group: “When we first got together I think we realised that there wasn’t anyone that was representing girls in a positive way without being overly sexual. I think we’ve filled that gap now…We’ve learnt that when us four girls stick together we’re a strong force, we’re not be messed with.”
