Ed Sheeran Plays Dublin After NBC Special Announcement

Ed Sheeran rocks out the stage at Croke Park on Friday afternoon (July 24) in Dublin, Ireland.

“Can’t wait for this weekends shows at Croke Park stadium. I love me some Ireland,” the 24-year-old “Photograph” singer shared on Instagram ahead of his concerts.

In case you missed the big news, Ed will be getting an NBC special from his Wembley Arena concerts.

“I can’t say that performing at Wembley Stadium was a ‘dream come true,’ because I honestly thought it was out of reach and didn’t think it was possible,” Ed shared in a statement. “But with each tour, the venues continued to grow and it became something of a challenge to see how far we could take it, how big we could go and still deliver a show that connected with the entire audience. It really doesn’t get any bigger than Wembley in my mind and it was an honour to join the select few that have headlined there. It’s definitely a personal milestone and I’m so glad to share this special moment with all of my fans.”

Ed Sheeran – Live at Wembley Stadium will airing Sunday, August 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
