Selena Gomez Confesses She Was Once Very Insecure About Her Voice

Selena Gomez combs her hair out of her face while leaving The Nice Guy on Friday night (September 4) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress/singer dressed up for a night out with friends after filming her first scenes for her new movie, Neighbors 2, earlier in the week.

“I was always insecure with my speaking voice because it’s so low,” Selena confessed to fans on Twitter about one of her insecurities. “I never felt like it was feminine-sounding.”

She added, “I didn’t know it would be such an asset to who I am now, though. It adds a cool, personal quality. It’s exciting.”
