Are you ready to see DNCE‘s debut vid for “Cake By The Ocean”?
The band — Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle and JinJoo Lee — actually put a giant cake on the beach!
“We were thinking of ideas and turned around and said, ‘Why not put a massive cake on the beach?,’” Joe dished about the vid’s concept. “It came together really quickly and were really excited about it because it’s just something that I think is wacky and fun.”
He added about having girlfriend Gigi Hadid direct, “She’s always had a high creative eye so she came up with concept and we rolled with it. She was a good boss.”
Joe is also pictured below at the Disaronno Wears Cavalli global launch event on Thursday night (October 15) at Milk Studios in New York City.
