Derek Theler Wants to Play a Superhero

Derek Theler shows off his strength while doing some exercises on the edge of a skyscraper in his Attitude magazine feature.

The 28-year-old Baby Daddy actor opened up to the mag about his dream role, what he eats to stay in shape, and showing off his body in public. Check it:

On his dream role: “I want to play a superhero. That was why I came to Hollywood. When Marvel started making movies I wanted to be part of that. I’m really excited about the next move and I hope I get the opportunity to wear a cape! It’s every boy’s dream. And I can’t wait to do it.”

On his diet: “I have type one diabetes so I have to be careful about what I eat and I have to stay healthy. I found out when I was three. It’s an extra responsibility. It was hard growing up without being irresponsible with myself and my health, but it taught me a valuable lesson about staying healthy.”

On people trying to whip his shirt off in public: “My TV mom Melissa Peterman is terrible. Whenever we are doing interviews or after we’ve finished taping the show she is always trying to get me to take my clothes off in front of people. People do ask, but if I’m at a bar or at the market then the answer is usually no.”
