Carly Rae Jepsen rocks a bold red lip in her new feature for the Winter issue of V magazine, on newsstands now.

The 29-year-old “Your Type” singer opened up about her new album, E�MO�TION.

“I think the mission for me was making something that I could personally feel really proud of,” Carly Rae shared with the glossy. “Something that really represented where I was at musically. And now, to have people who are true music lovers say something good about it without it being the most massive-selling thing. I can say honestly that’s what matters more to me, in a deeper way than I could have imagined.”
