Gigi Hadid Helped College Dropout John Economou Score A Modeling Contract

John Economou, a college drop out who lives on the beach in Venice, Calif., recently shared his story of how Gigi, 20, and Kendall Jenner, also 20, helped him score a modeling contract.

“It was a one in a billion chance meeting those girls,” John shared about his chance encounter with the two, who were lunching with Ansel Elgort after a commercial shoot in Venice. He shooed away seagulls from their picnic.

He added, “Right off the bat they mentioned I should do modeling. One of the girls said, ‘You’re cute.’ So I turned around and started conversation…Right off the bat they mentioned I should do modeling”.

John added about the models, “They don’t have that rich-girl vibe. Gigi was bubbly and funny. She was definitely more rambunctious. Kendall was more laid back, I can see a little hippie vibe.”
