Rowan Blanchard Opens Up About Kissing Co-Stars on 'Girl Meets World'

Rowan Blanchard is dishing more goods about filming one of our favorite TV shows – Girl Meets World!

In particular, the 14-year-old actress (who happens to be our role model) talks about kissing co-stars like Peyton Meyer.

“Of course it’s weird to film, because you’re kissing someone on screen,” Rowan told Teen.com. “That’s always a little weird, but I feel like when it first happened I was a little uncomfortable with it because I didn’t know how to differentiate the two, but now the entire cast and I are all so close that we could all kind of kiss each other and I don’t think it would matter (laughs). Honestly, we all trust each other and it’s a great relationship that we have, so it makes it feel like a much safer place.”

When it comes to her first-ever on-screen kiss, Rowan said, “Well, I was uncomfortable with it in the very beginning, because I didn’t know what to expect. Sabrina [Carpenter] had already kissed someone on screen and I hadn’t. It was kind of a weird thing for me because you’re doing in front of a bunch of writers and everything; it’s a strange setting. It’ll never normalize itself, but I think now I’m fine with it. When it was first initiated, I didn’t know what to expect from the whole situation overall. It was fine, though, because we’re all so close that I don’t think we would damage any relationships.”
