Zac Efron Issues Apology for 'Insensitive' MLK Day Post
Zac Efron has written an apology for a controversial tweet he posted on Martin Luther King Day referencing the famous activist.
In his original post, which is now deleted, he wrote. “I’m grateful for a couple things today. Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG.”
Zac issued an apology on Twitter the next day.
“I have nothing but the greatest admiration and respect for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,” he wrote. “I realize that last night’s post was completely insensitive and I apologize to anyone who I may have offended. So sorry. Z”
